DIY Glitter Jar

Deco a jar with this simple diy!

I've got a job to make a goodies bag for a bridal shower. While browsing through Pinterest, I've found this idea, and it's quite easy to make. You can use any color you want. Just a little mess when it comes to glitter part.

Materials:

  • Jar/plastic container
  • Spray paint (I used flat black, kind of matte finishing)
  • Mod podge
  • Glitter powder (I used antique gold)
  • Masking tape
  • Brush

Spray paint your jar/container with the lid together. Let it completely dry. Measure the glitter part. Wrap around the jar with masking tape so when you put the glitter it will be level neatly. But do not press the tape so hard, when you want to take it off it will pull the paint together. Just wrap it lightly.

Mod podge all around the bottom part. Sprinkle the glitter. Pull off masking tape slowly. let it dry.
Once dry, brush on top of the glitter with mod podge to make sure the glitter won't come off and smear your hands. I used gloss finishing type.

Happy DIY!
